Representatives of the federal, provincial and municipal government joined members of the CIHA project in Rockland on July 8. They annouced about $21 million in combined funding. The hockey academy will be unique in Canada and is made possible due to an unconventional pairing of a non-profit group and public funding, which was decided upon in the final days leading up to the funding annoucement.
