$1,000 for each of two food banks

The Vankleek Hill Food Bank and the L’Orignal Food Bank will each receive a $1,000 donation from Champlain Township. Although councillors were made aware that the township’s donations account was running low in funds, they agreed to find the money to make the donations.
In 2008, the township also gave $1,000 to each of the two food banks located in Champlain Township. In 2007, the township gave each food bank $750 and in 2006, each food bank received $500.
