120 entries in flower show

VANKLEEK HILL – Sixteen participants prepared 120 exhibits for the Vankleek Hill and District Horticultural Society Spring Flower Show, which included tulips, daffodils and spring flowers and shrubs.

Brianna Beauchamp won a prize for best daffodil entered in the show and won the Champlain Township trophy for the best flowering tree/shrub. Colesie Malloy was congratulated for having the best tulip in the show.

Tulips:

Peach: 1st - Chlorie Duval; 2nd - Jude Southgate.

Double: 1st - Chloe Duval.

Frilled: 1st - Jude Southgate; 2nd - Brianna Beauchamp.
