Artists return to Rockland

Artists are selecting their best work and getting ready for the fourth-annual Colours on the Bay show in Rockland.
The art exhibit happens on October 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This year’s honorary president is artist Charles Spratt, and the guest speaker will be Canadian children’s entertainer Suzanne Pinel, better-known as “Marie-Soleil.”
Thirty-four professional artists are expected to attend the show.
This year, proceeds from the show will be donated to Operation 20/20, a fundraising endeavor of the Cancer Unit of the Ottawa Hospital.
For each dollar raised for Operation 20/20, the Ontario Government has committed to donate $2.30.
Colours on the Bay will also be holding a silent auction, and non-perishables will be accepted for the Centre d’Aide Rockland.
Admission is free, and all artists have agreed to give a part of their proceeds to charity.
