Attractions Ontario launches its first blog contest

Attractions Ontario is gearing up to give away fabulous prizes to 10 lucky bloggers.

Launching the first ever Blog Contest, tourists are encouraged to write about their experience at an Ontario attraction this summer and submit it for a chance to win a grand prize worth over $800.

This is a great way to earn a free trip and explore the splendour that is Ontario by simply writing a review - something many visitors do anyway.

The blogs/reviews will be accepted until August 24, at which time the top 10 blogs will be placed on the Attractions Ontario Facebook page and voted on by its members. All top 10 blog entries will receive a prize, with the top blogger being awarded the title of Attractions Ontario Blogger of 2010.

This is the first year that Attractions Ontario has organized the contest.

Troy Young, Executive Director of Attractions Ontario says, "The opinions of those visiting the attractions we represent are very important to us. By running this contest we are allowing Ontario tourists to express their experiences and rewarding them for doing so. Anyone can enter, so go ahead and write as many blogs as you can for a chance to win an amazing Grand Prize right here in Ontario."

Visit www.attractionsontario.ca and click "Blog Contest" to learn about the great prizes and how to submit.  AttractionsOntario.ca is the place to visit to plan your day off, your week off, or your entire summer vacation.

With over 500 Ontario Attractions listed, there is something for everyone.  The site also features an E-Coupon section with great discounts to tourist attractions across the province!

Attractions Ontario is a non-profit association, dedicated solely to optimizing attendance for their member attractions.

As the only province-wide trade association dedicated exclusively to the attractions sector of the tourism industry, Attractions Ontario members encompass over 500 public and privately owned attractions in numerous categories such as amusement parks, historical sites, cultural activities, arts and entertainment and adventure tourism.
