Calypso waterpark offers ‘sneak preview’

The Calypso waterpark is about 80 per cent finished.
Earlier this month, the waterpark welcomed more than 12,000 visitors who got an exclusive look at some 35 water slides and attractions.
Visitors also toured the water park’s 100-acre site and some even went on a slide — with wet suits, because of the cold weather.
Investors say the park will be ready to open in June 2010.
The park’s construction has required more than a hundred workers during the past two years and will result in the creation of 500 new seasonal jobs in the life guarding, food and beverage services, as well as retail, maintenance and guest services department.
