Cannabis Seizure

All three men were transported to the Hawkesbury OPP detachment where they remain in custody pending a bail hearing.
All three men are charged with the following offences:
- Production of cannabis marihuana, contrary to section 7(1) of the C.D.S.A.
- Possession of cannabis marihuana for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) of the C.D.S.A
- Possession of cannabis resin – solid (hash)
- Theft of power, contrary to section 326(1) of the C.C.C.

The police operation called « Project Paradigm », consisted of members of the Organized Crime Crime Enforcement Bureau - Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) - Project Paradigm assisted by the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit (K-9) and Hawkesbury OPP Detachment executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.) Search Warrant at a commercial building located on Labrosse Street, St-Eugene, in East Hawkesbury Township (ON).

A sarch of the building resulted in the seizure of 2573 cannabis marihuana plants, 36 grams of cannabis resin – solid (hash), 784 grams of cannabis marihuana bud and equipment used in the production of cannabis marihuana.
