Evening of Jazz rocks Morin-Heights church

On May 17, around 60 members of the Morin-Heights Bridge Club were treated to an evening of jazz at the Saint-Eugène Church.

Matthieu Bélanger on clarinet and base-clarinet, was accompanied by a guitarist and pianist who filled the rafters of the church will the soothing sounds of soul music, which had the audience dancing in the aisles and tapping their feet to the music.

In 2009, Bélanger was nominated as the best clarinetist of the year by the National Jazz Awards and he brought some of his best work to Morin-Heights on May 17, when he performed musical compositions from his album, 'Insomnia'.
