Former patient donates to hospital

Valmont Gagnon, a former patient of CSSS d'Argenteuil, donated $1,030 to the Argenteuil Hospital Foundation. The money raised for the donation was all from recycled materials.

Mr. Gagnon, lecturer in mechanical engineering at Cegep Saint-Jerome, was once a victim of a heart attack. During his recovery, he began work to recycle scrap metal from a variety of different objects. The proceeds from the sale on these items have been donated to various causes during the past few years.

Last year, Mr. Gagnon was treated at CSSS d'Argenteuil in the best conditions. His cause for this year, then, was obvious.
