Eleven to one
There are good days and bad days in hockey — and for the Vankleek Hill Bantam Nation team, November 1 was definitely a bad day.
The team played a match against St.Isidore, and was defeated by ten points.
The game’s final match was eleven to one.
St. Isidore kept gaining throughout the match, scoring once in the first period, three times in the second and scoring seven points in the third period.
St.Isidore player Nick Spirito scored six goals during the match.
Penalty-free game
There’s something to be said about a clean game; a match with no penalties, fair hockey playing all around and good-sportsmanship.
Such a game happened on November 1, as Clarence’s Atom Nation team played against Vankleek Hill.
Clarence won the game with a score of three to one, and not a single penalty was given to either team.
May we say: Hear hear!
