Man attacked, woman bound during robbery in Vankleek Hill

Hawkesbury OPP said that on Thursday, July 19 at approximately 1:10 a.m. police responded to a break-in and armed robbery at a residence on High Street in Vankleek Hill.
Two unknown suspects, one armed with a weapon, forced their way into the residence, assaulting the adult male and binding the adult female resident.
The male victim managed to flee with the two suspects following. A third suspect, an unknown male, was seen in a black vehicle.
Police said the three suspects fled in the vehicle that was last seen heading south bound on Highway 34.
The suspects are described as a white male, 5'8", stocky, black ball cap, short hair, black t-shirt, blue jeans and a black male, 6'0", thin, narrow face, no facial hair, white t-shirt, black cargo pants
The victims were not injured.

This incident mirrors one that occurred on Barton Road on May 19.
Police said that around approximately 11 p.m., two male suspects broke in to a Barton Road residence in Champlain Township.
Police said the suspects attacked the male occupant of the residence looking for valuables. The female occupant was tied down by the perpetrators. The male occupant was able to exit the house and managed to run away to a neighbor's residence to call the police.
The female was brought outside where she was left behind the house when the suspects fled the scene without taking anything.
The male victim suffered injuries that required him to be transported to the hospital via ambulance.
The first suspect in this incident is described as being male, Caucasian, approximately 5' 6" tall with a muscular built and speaking English and French.
The second suspect is described as being male, caucasian, approximately 5'10" tall, physically fit and speaking both English and French.
