Meet the Artists: Colours on the Bay 2009

Listen to a few artists speak about their techniques and inspiration

The fourth-annual Colours on the Bay show in Rockland was quite a success, say organizers.

Thirty-four artists attended this year's show and displayed more than 450 paintings in different styles.

Proceeds from sales went towards Operation 20/20, a fundraising endeavor of the Cancer Unit of the Ottawa Hospital.

A silent auction was also held for paintings and non-perishables were collected for the Centre d'Aide Rockland.

Listen and watch as the Review presents audio interviews with six painters from the show.

Click on the paintings to meet the artists; find out about their techniques, their inspiration and their love of painting.

Soundslides Slideshows

I only had a chance to look at the first two. I love the way you used Soundslides to tell these brief stories. So much information in 60 seconds.

SOUNDSLIDE ON ROCKLAND PAINTERS

This is an outstanding soundslide. What vibrancy. I regret not to have been there to see the exposition with my own eyes. Excellent! JHM
