More on the Christmas pageant

Dear Editor,
Isn’t it wonderful, those great unwashed lefties, those who know what’s best for us, better than we do, are at it in Embrun, with the cancellation of their Christmas pageant?
These guys, who have all the answers, are responsible for the erosion and dismantling of our Canadian culture. Bit by bit, little by little, we are losing our traditions and way of life, because they, these lefties, not those they are claiming to represent, are responsible for us changing our country one word at a time, an event at a time, a prayer at a time.
It must stop now, with a Merry Christmas to all, before it is lost forever.
And what will be next? Do these enlightened lefties have changes in mind for Easter, maybe it will be “Not bad Friday” or “Have a nice day Friday.” Maybe Jesus didn’t die on the cross and was raised from the dead, maybe he just tripped, fell and hit his head!
I bet they even have an answer to why you won’t find a body in his grave. Where will it all end? I, as a Christian, would be more afraid of offending the one whose birth we are celebrating, than to a few who are not Christian and have different feelings towards Christmas.
It’s time we treasured our heritage and traditions, time we recognized just what a wonderful country we have, the reason many are so eager to come here. Let’s guard and protect what we have inherited from our forefathers and not lose it to a few politically correct individuals.
