New market in South Lancaster

SOUTH LANCASTER – Rob McIntosh China has started the McIntosh Bazaar and Market, which will be similar to a farmer’s market.

It will be “a new adventure as new vendors join us in creating this one of a kind weekly event” held each Saturday, organizers said.

The weekly event will start on June 6 and will run for four months, until the end of September. It will be held at the Rob McIntosh China warehouse outlet in South Lancaster.

“Our goal is to allow local farmers and individuals to sell their products, and for regional shoppers to discover the amazing selection of items and services offered in the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry area,” organizers said, adding the market could foster community health and local economic development.

The market is actively looking for vendors of arts, crafts, fruits, vegetables, specialty foods, family garage sales, flowers and more.
