OPP ask for assistance identifying shoplifting suspect

The Hawkesbury OPP are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a woman who allegedly shoplifted from the Pharmaprix Drug Store on August 28.

The OPP received a call regarding a shoplifting that occurred at the store, which is located at 900 Aberdeen Street in Hawkesbury.

OPP report that a female who had been browsing the store, activated the alarm system while exiting the pharmacy. The female did not stop to get checked and ran away on a bicycle.

Investigation revealed that the female had taken beauty products from the store.

A photo of the suspect was taken as she was leaving. Police were not able to identify the suspect on the photo and are asking for your help.
The suspect is described as being white, in her 30s, wearing a white t-shirt, silver necklace and blue sweat pants. Her hair is dark and was worn in an unkempt pony tail at the time of the alleged theft.
