Photo of the week: Saint Finnan's Cathedral

My father's family - comprising McCormick, Cameron, Eamon, MacDonald, MacDonell, and MacMillan families - were mainly born, baptized, and married in Alexandria. My great-grandmother, Catherine Jane MacDonell was baptized in St Finnan's in October of 1851. Is this a picture of the original Cathedral? I read on an ancestry site that the original Cathedral was demolished. I know the original Cathedral was built in 1833.
