Scotch Road winter

Phillip Thompson of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge sent us this photo of some of his favourite farmhouses - located along Scotch Road at the exit of Highway 50 - taken on Saturday, January 2 during a beautiful snowfall.

Have a look through the Photo of the Week archives, or use our search function, to check out Phillip's photo of the same farmhouses - taken in October - and surrounded by autumn colours.

Editor's note

Indeed, the actual wording we had received at The Review was "farm buildings." As a result of the interest in the photo, we have printed a copy of it in this week's paper, the January 20 edition, along with the correct wording and the little bit of history provided by Nancy Harkey. Thank you for your attention on the matter. Regards, Editorial team at The Review

Dear Mr.

Dear Mr. Photographer: Please delete the word "farmhouse" - the family home was taken down years ago "in anticipation of Hwy 50"; the buildings in the picture are the barn and outbuildings. Nancy Harkey

all in a word

I believe when I sent the photo(s) in I used the word Farm. Sorry for the wording on the photo discription. Phillip Thompson
