Hawkesbury police arrested two suspects on November 11, after chasing them through a wooded area outside Alfred.
Police say the two men were found driving a stolen car.
They refused to stop for police, and officers chased them on Highway 17.
The suspects then tried to evade police by driving into a corn field east of Alfred on Monte Peladeau Street.
Police say the stolen car immediately got stuck in the mud, and the two men fled on foot.
Officers chased the men on foot through the fields.
They called upon police helicopters and the canine unit to track the men down and they were apprehended.
Police have not yet released the name of the two men, but said on November 11 that they expect charges will be laid.
