Grenville Mayor Ronald Tittlit has returned uncontested as Argenteuil's warden and Gore Mayor Scott Pearce secured a majority vote to return as deputy warden for another two years.

Tittlit has been mayor of Grenville since he was first elected in 1994. Prior to that, he was a member of council between 1987 and 1993.

He served as deputy warden of Argenteuil between 1997 and 2000 and again between 2008 and 2009, and as its warden from 2004 to 2008 and again since 2009.

During his most recent nomination, in November, Tittlit thanked the other eight mayors of Argenteuil for their support and he said he intends to continue his hard work for all of the residents of Argenteuil.

Pearce defeated Saint-André d'Argenteuil Mayor André Jetté to secure the deputy role with a 6-2 vote. Pearce has been a mayor since 2004 and this is his second consecutive term as deputy warden.

Both the position of warden and deputy warden represent two-year terms and the positions are elected by the nine mayors of the municipal region of Argenteuil.
