The girls Peewee B hockey team sported with their new HCGHA jerseys at a Sunday game in Vankleek Hill against the Outaouais Express. The game ended when the Outaouais team scored two minutes and 20 seconds into overtime, making the final score 7-6. HCGHA goals came from: Kayla Letouzel, Melyna Lapensee, Juliane Lapensee and Tatiana Gelineau with a hat-trick. The girls will face the Carleton Place Cyclones on Saturday in Hawkesbury at 10am, and then visit Pembroke on Sunday to play against Ottawa Valley. Also, the AP House League team has been looking good on the ice. With the team’s first game set for Sunday at noon in Vankleek Hill, many of the girls on the AP team will be playing their first game ever.
