The show took place on Sunday, December 12 and featured local talent as well as local celebrity readers.
The support of several local businesses made this year's live-streaming event  possible; Bobby Lalonde Music and Pottery Lane Imports of Vankleek Hill as well as Cogeco TV and IGS Internet both of Hawkesbury have all donated financially or with in-kind contributions to make the event possible.“

Across Canada an average of 20,000 people attend the Christmas Carol readings each year and together raise over $200,000 every holiday season for worthy causes in their communities.

This year marks the 21st anniversary of these Canada-wide public readings first started by now-retired CBC Radio personality Judy Maddren.
