Well and Septic System Information Session

This November, the Raisin Region Conservation Authority will be holding homeowner workshops on “What you need to know about your well and septic system”. Guest speakers will present valuable information on design, construction and maintenance of private residential wells and septic systems. Proper care of these systems will help protect the health of your family and the environment. It will also save you money.

Arrange to attend one of these workshops to obtain helpful advice on operation and maintenance of your well and septic system. Presentations are from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Here are the dates for the workshops:

November 3 at Bearbrook Community, 8720 Russell Road in Navan, Ontario in English. November 4 at the Township Office of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, 18 Centre Street in Spencerville, Ontario in English. November 5 at the Cooper Marsh Visitor Centre, 20020 County Road 2 in Lancaster, Ontario in English. November 10 at the Municipal Hall of South-Platagenet, 3210 County Road 9 in Fournier, Ontario in French.

Water sampling instructions and sample bottles will be available at the workshop. If you have an approved water sample bottle and collect a sample before the workshop you can bring it to be analysed.
