St-Bernardin Winter Carnival

ST-BERNARDIN – A one-day winter carnival takes place in St-Bernardin on Saturday, February 3 at the Caledonia Community Centre.
Fun in the snow includes free activities from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., including horse-drawn sleigh rides, dogsledding tours, sliding (bring your sled), a campfire, hot chocolate and taffy on snow. The skating rink will be open throughout the day and evening for free skating and friendly hockey games.
Indoors, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., enjoy the music of Roger Hamelin and friends. Admission is $15 per person and includes supper. At the same time, bingo will take place in the seniors hall. To reserve, call 613-307-6235.
A spaghetti supper and best dessert contest will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $15, which includes all afternoon activities and the evening dance. Bring your best dessert! There are prizes to be won.
At 5:30 p.m., there will be a mini-circus for kids with Danys Hamel.
A lumberjack dance with Disco Mirage takes place later that eening, beginning at 8:30 p.m. Be sure to wear your lumberjack shirt.
The event is organized by the St-Bernardin Historical and Cultural Society, Club d’activités familiiales and the St-Bernardin Firefighters.
The Caledonia Community Centre is located at 6900 County Road 22, St-Bernardin.
